The other week I was idly wasting my time on Instagram. There were loads of things I planned to do but it was one of those days where I just could not be bothered to move from doing my Roman emperor impression on the sofa. While casually flicking through different travel photos, cute animals and craft projects, I ended up making an impulsive purchase. And this is how we got the cutest little thing ever.

Meet our new travelling companion Jimi. Jimi is an amigurumi horse that comes from the crochet needles of talented maker Paulina (check out her shop here). He looked super cute on the photos, but once he actually arrived I was completely taken by him an decided to make him our little travel buddy!
You might wonder what is amigurumi. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Pretty cool, ha? As the lockdown eased a bit we got our tiniest motorcycle, little Yamaha SR125 called Rintin, out for a spin and showed Jimi a bit of Essex.
You might see him in some photos from our trips to come. 🙂 For now, enjoy some nice Essex photos!
